Before your appointment

  • What service should I book?

    New clients: Book New Client Facial. This facial will include a consultation and choose a treatment that best suits your skin.

    Returning clients: Book a treatment that was recommended to you from your esthetician. If none was recommended you can email or text to discuss what treatment would be best for you. All treatments booked are destined to change based on your skin at the time of your appointment.

  • How do I prep my skin before my facial?

    Discontinue exfoliants i.e scrubs, AHA’s, BHA’s, retinol, tretinoin 3-5 days before your facial.

    Avoid touching any breakouts you may have. Icing inflamed breakouts after you cleanse for 2-3 minutes in slow circle motions.

  • Requirements to know before starting skin revision treatments.

    Tyrosinase Inhibtors + Sunscreen are required for at least 4 weeks before starting a series of facials to address any skin condition. These two simples steps will insure we achieve safe and effective skin revision. Tyrosinase inhibitors are ingredients like hexyrescorcinol, vitamin c, arbutin, kojic acid that suppress melanin in the skin that melanocytes produce when the skin experiences trauma i.e chemical peels, exfoliation, etc.

After your appointment

  • How do I care for my skin post facial?

    Always avoid exfoliating products for 5 days post skin treatment + avoid working out or causing excess heat to the skin for 48-72 hours. Stay consistent with your routine at home and wear sunscreen daily.

  • When should I book my next facial?

    Your esthetician will help you build a treatment plan + timeline. Typically, treatments are booked monthly or 4-6 weeks apart.

  • What should I expect of my skin post facial?

    Expect to leave your appointment slightly pink + dewy af. If a lot of extractions were performed the extracted lesions may be puffy and red, this is totally normal. The skin may feel a little tight or dry for a few days after a skin treatment.
